How to Make Pixel Art with PicLumen?
As you know, PicLumen has two generation models for creating stunning AI images: text-to-image and image-to-image.
As a typical image generation model, creating images from text is the basic usage of PicLumen. And it is really easy to use, just 3 steps in total:
- Step One: Log in and come into your create page.
- Step Two: Set all the parameters and input your expected pixel art prompts.
- Step Three: Click “Generate” and wait for your creation.
Look how easy it is! Actually, the key point of AI image creation based only on text prompts is the accuracy of textual description. You need to clearly write the keywords, like “pixel art”, “8-bit pixel”, “16-bit pixelated” etc. in the image prompts. With these keywords, the algorithm can properly understand your intent.
Beside the basic usage, PicLumen also provides an advanced method of use, that is generating images from another image.
Our image-to-image is a bit different with image generation from photos through other AI image creators. Users can not directly edit the uploaded image, but this uploaded image could be a “Reference” for your creations. And you can choose of the following three reference methods to generate images:
- Content Reference: The core content of the uploaded image will remain the same, but you can use text prompts to change colors, styles and more.
- Style Reference: PicLumen will copy the style of the picture you upload and combine it with your text prompts to make a new AI image.
- Character Reference: This will make it easy to keep your characters the same across all of your pictures.
Overall, generating an AI image from an image takes only one additional step:
- Step One: Log in and come into your create page.
- Step Two: Upload the image which you want to use as a reference and set the parameters.
- Step Three: Describe what image you want to get from PicLumen.
- Step Four: Click “Generate” and wait for your creation.
And I have one more tip for you: creating an image from another image doesn’t mean simply uploading an image is enough; text prompts are still the way the AI algorithm understands your intentions, so don’t forget to enter a description! (If you guys ask me why I’m telling you this, all I can tell you is that it’s my experience.
